The Grass Isn’t Greener: Everywhere Vigilance is the Price of Preservation

Last week found city preservation advocates and elected officials gathering in a list ditch effort to save the threatened houses at 326 & 328 East 4th Street. As their pleas went out to the Landmarks Preservation Commission, the city was issuing permits that would allow the destruction of these historic structures.
